Diploma in Cognitive Hypnotherapy - I've been searching for many years for a lifestyle career that subscribes to the values and ideas I've accumulated and that has effective honoring techniques which uses the client’s model of the world to help them get good life-changing positive results.

The Quest Institute established by Trevor and Bex Silvester have developed a system out of various models under the banner of Cognitive Hypnotherapy which fitted with everything I was looking for.

Before I started, I had no idea how life changing the course would be and how much enthusiasm and energy driven by deep love and knowledge for hypnotherapy Trevor has. His want of excellence and continuing development in no way makes him inaccessible, quite the opposite, it has endeared him to all that have been infected by his gentle approachable nature. He and Bex have been able to bring together a very eclectic mix of people and create an environment of nurturing, learning, sharing and importantly continuing post-course support and guidance.

Trevor is already well-known and highly respected not only within the UK, but also internationally for his creation of wordweaving. I have little doubt that he is well on his way to becoming one of the greats of hypnosis and hypnotherapy. It has been a privilege to have studied under him and look forward to continued development as a hypnotherapist under his guidance.

Diploma in Cognitive Hypnotherapy - Having taken a couple of years to make the decision to find out more about Quest and Hypnotherapy - I could kick myself for taking so long. Not only is the subject fascinating, the way the sessions are facilitated is fantastic - and as for the resources and pre-reads etc - I can imagine using them for years to come. Thank you so much for giving me this fabulous foundation to build my business on - I am looking forward to a successful future in this field and it is thanks to Quest. Long may Quest continue providing this awesome level of teaching. :)

A wonderful place to meet great friendly people.
Trevor is a very patient and understanding guy to learn so much from.

There's a wonderful team at Quest and I feel very pleased to be apart or this ever-expanding group.

Diploma in Cognitive Hypnotherapy - I found the course to be well planned and organised. The standard of teaching was exceptional and the range of teaching techniques broad. The materials used and provided were of an excellent standard.

I particularly liked the level of support, attention to detail and human approach. I found the practical and theoretical teaching to be of a good balance and appropriately used.

The venue was also excellent, easily accessible and facilitated learning (and socialising)!

fantastic and supportive teaching assistants also added to the experience.

I would give the course a 10/10 and have already recommended it to anyone willing to listen.

Wordweaving Practitioner Certification - This is a course that I believe serves as a much better foundation for a hypnotherapy practice than more traditional training. Trevor integrates some very important concepts in a fundamental way that will not even be introduced in a more traditional training. He's taken much of the best of what has been created through the development of the discipline and then contributed his own innovations in a way that bring many concepts together and make them even better. I found his approach to teaching very user friendly and complete as well. The concepts are well explained, and there is a lot of opportunity to practice creating suggestions. Most importantly, the final exam, the most challenging part of the course, is invaluable, as it takes you through the entire interview and script creation process. If you can get through the exam, then you have just demonstrated to yourself that you can do it in real life, because you create a real script for a real client who was interviewed by Trevor.

Wordweaving Practitioner Certification - What a brilliant idea!

The course is well thought-out and executed. The learning points are easy to grasp and are beautifully illustrated with explanations, background information and diagrams, making the whole experience of this fascinating concept extremely enjoyable.

The sequence of lessons leading me, the student, through the steps, pulling the different components together, allowed me to consolidate my learning as I went along. The tests at the end of each section confirmed that I was ready to move on to the next stage.

I have to confess, it gave my brain a bit of a work-out, this is advanced stuff. There was a lot to take in, but it was so well organised that bit by bit, at my own pace, I progressed. The great thing was that I could take my time and fit the modules in when it was convenient to me.

And in any case, as someone very famous once said, “It’s not supposed to be easy, just possible!”

And it was!

I’d recommend this to anyone wanting to increase their understanding and ability to use advanced language patterns to influence positive change.

Diploma in Cognitive Hypnotherapy - The combination of a structured method and grounded approach to developing an all round set of skills for students makes this course both a realistic, worthwhile and very enjoyable professional training for anyone wishing to change career, commit to becoming a successful CAM (complementary & alternative medical) practitioner or further realize their own potential for true wellbeing.

The ongoing support community, after completing the course, is both professionally excellent and personally very supportive. This is invaluable when first setting up your own practice.

To my knowledge, there is no better all round training course, or quality of fellow students.

Diploma in Cognitive Hypnotherapy - I wasn't really looking for hypnotherapy training, but I had spent hours researching NLP training and couldn't settle on any course in particular. I'd wanted to do something in my spare time to stimulate my brain whilst doing what was at the time a pretty mind-numbing job.

When I saw the Quest site, it spoke volumes to me, made absolute sense and I immediately applied. When I told my partner about it, he wanted to do it too! He however, had reservations until we met Trevor, Bex and Barney at our interview when it became completely obvious that we should take the course together, which we did.

We looked forward to those weekends so much and always left on a high, (especially after weekend 7 when my partner proposed!). The pace of learning is absolutely spot on, just the right level of being challenged and supported 100%. It was such a safe environment to learn in, with no fear of being wrong or making a fool of yourself. If I could tell you the amount of times I didn't think I'd ever get it, and then I did. It was great to discover that this was more about science than any incense-swinging heebeegeebees! (Please note: incense swinging has an appropriate time and place!) By the end of the first weekend, I realised I was completely entranced by Cognitive Hypnotherapy and this love affair continues today!

Trevor and Bex absolutely practice what they preach and have passion and integrity for what they do. The course materials are great and you are never left on your own in the dark, which I have experienced before with other courses, (thanks for the cheque, here's your reading list, bye!).

Since I qualified I have regularly been seeing clients and even though I had started the course simply out of an interest in personal development, I finished it with all the skills necessary to set up a successful Cognitive Hypotherapy practice of my own. My now husband, uses it to better his golf and improve his dinner party conversations (he needed it!)

I qualified five years ago and feel just as supported and part of the Quest family now as I did the very first day we nervously arrived. There is a great online community with peer supervision and regular meetings to keep you in the loop or to help if you get stuck.

I went on to take my Master Practitioner and then became a Confident Childbirth practitioner through Quest as well and I don't want to sound too evangelical here, but, there really isn't any other way of saying it, it has really improved my life. I got the opportunity to work on my own stuff as well as improve my skills working with other people. These skills are absolutely transferable, whether it's at home in your family relationships or at work using language more effectively or setting goals for yourself to achieve all that you've ever dreamed of achieving.

When I meet other practitioners who've trained elsewhere, I know that I really created my own luck training at Quest. When your friends and family start to see the changes in you, they become really interested themselves and my sister, Sarah, and good friend Richard, have since done the course and loved it as much as I did.

Diploma in Cognitive Hypnotherapy - I completed my Diploma a year ago. I enjoyed a lot attending the course and I found it very informative at many levels, both professionally and personally. I would reccommend The Quest Institute and Trevor as the main Teacher to anyone that wishes to learn about Cognitive Hypnotherapy and NLP. I constantly use all the material provided on the course to support me with my clients.

I am very pleased that I attended Trever's course and I feel that it was the right course for me.
