Training that suits your needs |
We attract a wonderful spectrum of people to our courses. We have medical doctors, psychologists, psychiatric nurses, taxi drivers, roofers, Olympic Gold medallist, actors, IT consultants, actors, housewives, house-husbands - a great variety of backgrounds. It’s not very ‘NLP’ of us to say so but the common denominator tends to be their spirit, which is probably why our groups tend to form quickly and work so well together.
We meet everybody who wants to do the course so you’re sure we’re right for you and we can check that you’re right for us.

| We’re much more interested in life experience and the ability to relate to others than academic qualifications. If you’re worried about that side of things then talk to us, we won’t let you take on something we don’t think is right for you. |
Students tend to join for one of three reasons:
- Probably the biggest group are those who are looking to build a new career. Our training is focused on developing your competence for this reason – you won’t be successful unless you are. Being a Hypnotherapist is not an easy road to riches, but we know from the experiences of our graduates that’s it’s perfectly possible to build a thriving practice. Competence and marketing is the key – and we help you with both.
We also like to point out that this is one of the most challenging Hypnotherapy courses you can take. My Granddad used to say that the only benefit from doing something easy is that it’s easy. Developing a skill takes focus, energy and application. Our approach to hypnotic language, Wordweaving™, gives you the ability to create spontaneous suggestions based on the information your client gives you, and we provide several resources to help you build this ability – but you have to dedicate the time. The reward is a level of competence as a Hypnotherapy practitioner that gives you the best possible foundation for a wonderfully rewarding career. Another thing he used to say to me was “It’s not meant to be easy, just possible.” And this course fits that bill perfectly.
- The next group are those who are happy with their present career but want to add to their skill-set.
Careworkers, nurses, doctors, dentists, teachers and coaches have all found the skills from this course an invaluable addition.
- Finally there are those interested in their own personal development. They often come with no clear idea of how the course will benefit their lives, just an interest in the subject.

One lovely example was a student called Anthony Bennett. He joined at the tender age of 67 because he thought the subject was fascinating and he wanted to ‘keep his cogs turning’.Although retired, Tony teaches piano and found that his skills at suggestion helped his students relax as they played and improved their performance, all within the structure of a normal piano lesson – not a swinging watch in sight!

All of our courses are held in Regents College in London. This is a lovely venue that is a hub for the training of a great range of complementary approaches.
It’s just inside Regents Park, only 5 minutes away from Baker Street tube. There is also car parking available on-site.
The College has a very good refectory serving good food at low prices, with other outlets available locally. There is also a local pub that has become a favourite haunt for students and graduates to gather, particularly on a Saturday night after class. |
One of the key differences in our training is the attention we give to supporting you. Our graduates are great advertisements for us and we firmly believe that your success and our success are inextricably linked.
As a consequence much of our time is devoted to helping graduates after the course is over. A qualified supervisor is available for both face-to-face and telephone supervision, there is a telephone support line and we run social evenings every month in Slough or London where all students and graduates are free to meet. They do book reviews, talk about marketing or client issues, we often have guest speakers or run a mini-teach. Our online member's area has a number of thriving forums covering subjects from business building, to client advice, to new ideas. Building a business on your own can be lonely; being part of a group of people who help and support you - and understand your experience - tends to be really valued. |
